On Exeed UAE's 2026 brochure the RX comes with two completely different gearboxes depending on grade: the Comfort uses a 7-speed dual-clutch (7DCT) with front-wheel drive, and the Prestige an 8-speed automatic (8AT) with all-wheel drive. A dual-clutch gearbox and a torque-converter automatic take different fluid types, and the Prestige's AWD adds driveline units with their own lubricants. ShipMyPart has not verified any of these fluids, quantities or intervals, so we confirm your grade and gearbox by VIN first.
| Grade (2026) | Gearbox | Drive | Lubricants to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Comfort | 7DCT | FWD | DCT fluid |
| Prestige | 8AT | AWD | Automatic transmission fluid, plus the AWD coupling and rear differential oils |

Fluid specifications for this model are confirmed by VIN on request.
A dual-clutch gearbox works like two manual gearboxes run by computer: one clutch handles odd gears, the other even ones, so the next gear is ready before the shift. Its fluid is formulated for that design and is not a torque-converter automatic fluid. Exeed does not state whether the RX's 7DCT clutches run wet or dry, which is one more reason to confirm the exact fluid from the VIN.
The eight-speed automatic moves off through a torque converter and changes gear with hydraulically operated clutch packs. Its fluid transmits power, controls the shifts and carries heat away, so it must be the automatic transmission fluid Exeed names for this gearbox. A DCT fluid in an 8AT, or the other way round, is the wrong product.
The Prestige adds all-wheel drive with snow, mud and off-road modes. On SUVs of this layout, power usually reaches the rear wheels through a coupling or transfer unit, a propeller shaft and a rear differential, and some of those units have their own oil. Exeed does not publish which are filled separately, so we check that by VIN rather than assume.
| Comfort (7DCT) | Prestige (8AT + AWD) |
|---|---|
| Judder creeping in traffic | Slipping or flaring between gears |
| Hesitation pulling away | Thump selecting Drive or Reverse |
| Gearbox warning after a hot drive | Binding on tight turns or a rear hum |
Possible signs only; a workshop can read the control units to narrow it down.
Tell us Comfort or Prestige and send the VIN. We confirm the gearbox and, for AWD cars, the extra driveline units, then quote the fluids Exeed specifies together with parts your workshop asks for, such as axles or a transfer unit.
Compatibility verification required
No fluid or part is listed here until its specification has been checked against Exeed's requirement for your vehicle. Send your VIN and we will confirm what fits before you order.
Send your VIN (chassis number) and we will confirm the correct transmission fluid for your Exeed RX.
It depends on the grade: Comfort has a 7-speed dual-clutch (7DCT) with front-wheel drive; Prestige has an 8-speed automatic (8AT) with AWD, per Exeed UAE's 2026 brochure.
No. A dual-clutch gearbox and a torque-converter automatic need different fluid types.
The Prestige grade is AWD; the Comfort grade is front-wheel drive.
Its AWD driveline has extra lubricated units, but Exeed doesn't publish which are separately filled. We confirm by VIN.
ShipMyPart has not verified the quantities; we confirm them by VIN.
Follow the service book or an Exeed service centre. We don't quote an interval until it is verified.
