GWM UAE's 2025 POER sheet lists an 8-speed automatic (8AT), described on the model page as a ZF-8AT, with 4WD and a differential lock. That means at least three kinds of lubricant in the driveline: automatic transmission fluid in the gearbox, oil in the transfer case and oil in the axles. ShipMyPart has not verified any of them, their quantities or intervals, so we match each one to your POER by VIN.

Fluid specifications for this model are confirmed by VIN on request.
A torque-converter automatic uses its fluid to transmit drive, to apply the clutch packs that select each gear and to cool itself. With eight ratios the shifts are close and frequent, so the control unit relies on the fluid behaving exactly as designed. An automatic transmission fluid that suits another make's gearbox can change shift feel or wear the clutch packs. Only the fluid GWM lists for the POER gearbox should go in.
The transfer case splits drive between the axles, and each axle carries its own gears in its own oil. These are gear oils, not automatic transmission fluid, and they are serviced separately. On a 4WD pickup that wades through water or spends hours in sand, these oils can be contaminated long before the gearbox fluid needs attention.
| Clue | Area a workshop may look at |
|---|---|
| Harsh or late shifts when hot | Gearbox fluid, control unit |
| Whine from under the cab that rises with speed | Transfer case or axle oil |
| Clunk when taking up drive | Mounts, propeller shaft joints |
| Milky oil after wading | Water in an axle or transfer case |
These are possible areas, not a diagnosis.
Three different lubricants usually means three different products to order. Give us the VIN and the last service invoice if you have it; from the invoice we can see which of the gearbox, transfer case and axle oils were changed and which are still outstanding, and quote only what your POER actually needs.
Compatibility verification required
No fluid or part is listed here until its specification has been checked against GWM's requirement for your vehicle. Send your VIN and we will confirm what fits before you order.
Send your VIN (chassis number) and we will confirm the correct transmission fluid for your GWM POER.
GWM UAE's 2025 sheet lists an 8-speed automatic (8AT); the model page calls it a ZF-8AT.
Yes. The 2025 sheet lists 4WD with a differential lock.
Not necessarily. Transfer cases and axles usually take gear oils; GWM's service data names each one. We confirm by VIN.
ShipMyPart has not verified the quantity; we confirm it by VIN.
It is a sensible precaution: water can enter through breathers, and milky oil should be changed.
Follow the service book or a GWM service centre. We don't quote intervals until they are verified.
