A conventional automatic, not a dual-clutch
Several other Jetour models use dual-clutch gearboxes, and some catalogue listings describe the T1 that way too. Jetour UAE's own T1 sheets list an 8-speed automatic (AT) for every petrol trim. That matters when buying fluid: automatic transmission fluid and dual-clutch fluid are built for different hardware and must not be swapped.
On a T1 Luxury, the gearbox is only one of the oils
The Luxury's four-wheel-drive system sends torque through a BorgWarner real-time unit and two limited-slip differentials, one in the centre of the drivetrain and an electronically controlled one at the rear. This hardware may need oils that differ from the gearbox ATF. Jetour has not published which units are filled separately or with what, so we confirm each one by VIN rather than guess.
The Comfort and Flagship are front-wheel drive and have none of this extra hardware.
Telling a 4WD Luxury from a 2WD T1
- Screen: 15.6-inch on the Luxury, 12.8-inch on the Comfort and Flagship (2026–2027 sheets).
- Drive modes: only the Luxury lists Snow, Mud, Sand and Rock.
- The VIN: the reliable check, and the only one for 2025 cars.
What to ask before a gearbox service
Ask the workshop for the Jetour fluid specification and part number for the T1's 8AT, the drain-and-fill quantity versus the total capacity, and how the level is checked (on many automatics it is done at a set fluid temperature). On a Luxury, ask in the same visit whether the four-wheel-drive unit and differentials are due. Take the intervals from your service booklet or a Jetour service centre; ShipMyPart hasn't verified them.
