Two engines, two oil questions
The 1.5L and the turbocharged 1.5T, despite the same size, do different jobs with their oil. In the turbo version the oil also lubricates and cools the turbocharger shaft, which runs far hotter and faster than anything in the 1.5L engine. Manufacturers often set different requirements for the two, so a bottle that suits one ZS may not suit the other.
That is why we ask for the VIN even when you tell us the car is "a ZS".

- Specification or approval
- The performance standard MG lists; a matching thickness alone is not enough.
